Office Hours
Hours during off-season (May to January):
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 3 pm
Hours during the tax season (February to April):
- Monday: from 9 am to 9 pm
- Tuesday: from 9 am to 9 pm
- Wednesday: from 9 am to 9 pm
- Thursday: from 9 am to 9 pm
- Friday: from 9 am to 9 pm
- Saturday: from 10 am to 5 pm
- Sunday: from 12 pm to 5 pm
I work all those days, except for Sundays.
My Jobs at H&R Block
Currently, I have multiple roles with the company:
- Client Service Leader (office manager) / Tax Professional - year-round
- Tax Academy Advisor - I provide support for the Level 1 course (August to December)
- Tax Academy Moderator - supporting the instructor with classes (September to December)
Tax Returns I Can Do
I have been with the company since January 2024 and can do the following:
- Canadian personal income taxes
- Employment expenses
- Rental income
- Self-employment
This is my plan for the near future:
- Trust and Deceased (T3) - I will learn it this year (2026)
- US Taxes - I am planning to start learning it next year (2027)
As I work year-round, I also handle CRA letters, audits, and assessments, which sometimes involve complex cases that can last more than a year.
